Raised Between Worlds

How Roots and Mindset Shape Creative Craftsmanship

Growing up between two worlds fundamentally shapes how you observe, adapt, and build.

I was born in Bishkek, Kyrgyzstan, and raised in Germany. Growing up, my world was multilingual by default: Russian at home, German at school and in everyday life, and English throughout my professional work. But across every culture, language, and market, design became the common language that connected everything.

A Mindset Passed Down: Quality Over Budget

Behind the scenes of Simdesigns, the story doesn't begin at a computer screen or inside a studio workspace. It begins with who I am, where I come from, and the core values instilled in me from the start.

My mother, Irina, taught me a principle early in life that has stayed with me ever since:

"Quality is never a question of budget—it is a matter of mindset."

That sentence is embedded in every project I undertake today. Whether working on a boutique brand identity or a high-end 3D product pipeline for an enterprise client, quality is never treated as a luxury tier—it is the baseline attitude brought to the table.

How Cultural Adaptability Translates into Design Leadership

Navigating different cultures and languages built the foundation for how I operate as an ENFP, Senior Media Designer, and 3D Artist:

  • Empathy & Active Listening: Experiencing multiple perspectives makes listening first second nature. Understanding why a client builds what they build is crucial before placing a single pixel or drafting a 3D mesh.

  • Multilingual Direct Alignment: Fluent communication in German, English, and Russian enables seamless collaboration with local partners in the Hannover/Garbsen region as well as international teams, eliminating translation friction.

  • Academic & Technical Rigor: Combining this personal philosophy with a Master of Arts (M.A.) in Design & Media and Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) in Media Design from Hochschule Hannover, alongside IHK credentials, ensures every creative decision is backed by solid craftsmanship.

At Simdesigns, design is not an assembly-line service. It is a dedicated, one-on-one partnership driven by genuine interest, cultural adaptability, and an unyielding standard of excellence.
